InsideOut Serve Our City 2024

ABOUT SERVE OUR CITY

Serve Our City is more than just a mission trip; it's an opportunity for students to step outside of their comfort zones, engage with their community, and discover the joy of serving others. Through a variety of service projects and activities, students will have the chance to:

Serve with Purpose: Volunteer with local organizations addressing issues such as homelessness and hunger, guided by the teachings of compassion and love.

Connect with Compassion: Engage with community members and hear their stories, recognizing the inherent dignity and worth of each individual as children of God.

Grow in Faith: Participate in team-building exercises, worship, and reflection sessions to deepen their understanding of God's call to service and their role as disciples in their community.

Explore with Wonder: Explore the vibrant city of Winnipeg, experiencing its culture through the lens of faith and gratitude.

WHY SERVE OUR CITY

The goal of this trip is to make disciples of Jesus - students who will invest their lives in His mission of bringing hope and transformation right here at home, to the people of Winnipeg.

Impact: By living out their faith through service, students will not only make a tangible difference in the lives of others but also experience the transformative power of God's love in action.

Empowerment: Serve Our City empowers students to become faithful stewards of their gifts and talents, inspiring them to use their abilities to serve others and glorify God.

Connection: Through service and shared experiences, students will forge meaningful connections with their peers, Life Group leaders, and community members, strengthening their faith community and sense of belonging.

Spiritual Growth: Serve Our City provides students with opportunities for spiritual growth and discipleship, helping them develop a deeper relationship with God and a stronger commitment to living out their faith in their daily lives.
