UPSTREET ONLINE: April 19

Thomas heard that Jesus was alive, but he didn’t believe it until he saw it. Jesus said, “Blessed are those who have not seen, yet believed.” That’s all of us! Jesus wants us to believe in Him. We have this opportunity to be the people that don’t get to see Jesus physically, yet we can believe! And that is what faith is all about, believing in something we can physically see.

K - GRADE 3 ACTIVITIES

Jesus wants us to believe in Him. Start off your discussion time with a fun game called “Can You Believe That”. Then take some time to talk about the story of Thomas, and use the activities provided to learn more about what it means to believe in Jesus.

GRADE 4 - 5 ACTIVITIES

It must have been so hard for Thomas to believe that Jesus was alive, even though his friends said they saw him. It’s amazing just how much Jesus loved him, by the fact that he showed up again just so Thomas would believe! Take some time to talk about this story with your kids and have fun with a few activities/discussion questions that are geared specifically for 4th and 5th graders.

Magazine Download (Clubhouse & Clubhouse Jr.)

Downloadable SOAP Journal

We have a Journal that you can download and print off for your kids!  It’s called a SOAP Journal which focuses each day on 4 things: Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer.  If you’re looking for something for your kids to do in their daily devotions, this is a great resource! Download the Journal and the corresponding Bible verses that go along with each day for the next 2 weeks.

Faith Resources

Having conversations with your kids about faith is amazing!  Here are some resources for you as parents, to help your kids navigate the conversation and ideas on what to say to them. This is a great opportunity to take time to listen to your kids, answer their questions with care, and help them deepen their relationship or even start their relationship with God.
