It can be tempting to think that God has forgotten about us, or that he isn’t at work in our lives, or in the world around us but no matter what we’ve done, and no matter what our circumstances seem to suggest, God is always at work. He’s in the shadows, working in ways we may not understand or expect - writing unlikely stories. Even when we don’t feel his presence, we can still be certain of his power.
