COVID-19 Update

February 13, 2021

Hello Oasis Church family!

As Manitoba slowly starts to open up, we thought we would give you a quick update on what this looks like for us as a church.  Although the most recent health orders do indicate churches are allowed to gather with up to 10% occupancy, there is a cap of 50 total people allowed. For us to host a live service, our volunteer's alone number more than 50 and so these new provisions actually don't affect how we're doing things at this time.  So we will continue to see you online and provide a great experience for you there.

Dr. Roussin has also indicated that these guidelines are not designed to allow for in-person youth groups or Life Groups. Thankfully, our life groups have continued to meet online, and we have some great online programming for both kids and students - so, be sure to check that out.

In addition we are continuing to add resources to our website including some recently added on anxiety. Please take a look at that if you feel you're struggling in that area and of course, don't hesitate to reach out to our staff if you need to talk to someone!

Even though it feels like we've been in lockdown forever, it won't always be this way! We will be able to see you in person again, and we can't wait to welcome you through these doors! Remember that not even a global pandemic can stop the message of Jesus.

So for now, keep washing your hands, keep praying for our community, and let’s keep loving our neighbours. And we will see you all this Sunday online at
